Indigenous Members SPECIAL Meeting Notice

REQUEST FOR THOSE CUPE 5523 MEMBERS THAT SELF – DECLARE INDIGENOUS ANCESTRY to attend a meeting at the Local Union Office (Unit 206 – 2411 HWY #6) behind Diner on Six on November 15th @ 5P.M.  

Purpose of this meeting is to have input from our Indigenous members in drafting the list of duties for a new position (INDIGENOUS REPRESENTATIVE) that will be added to our CUPE 5523 Executive and bylaws in the new year. The person in this position does not do the duties of the Indigenous Shop Steward.
