CUPE 5523 provides 6 – $1000 scholarships to graduating students each year in SD 22. One scholarship to each high school and one scholarship to a District student that self – identifies as Indigenous.
For a student to qualify for the scholarship (their parent or guardian) must be an employee of SD 22 and CUPE 5523 Support Staff Worker. For the Indigenous scholarship the student is not required to have (their parent or guardian) be an employee of SD 22 or CUPE 5523 member.
